VISITING THE MONASTERY

The Monastery is a humble farmhouse, set on 20 acres of farmland between Deniliquin and Mathoura, about 55km north of Echuca, Vic.

The Chapel is open daily during daylight hours, for those who wish to visit the Blessed Sacrament. The Sisters’ private Holy Mass is usually at 8am. If you would like to attend, please use the contact email form to confirm the time and seating availability (due to the small size of their temporary Chapel). Note that it can take a few days for our volunteer assistants to respond to email requests.

Due to the demands of their cloistered life, the Nuns do not normally meet personally with visitors. However, it is possible to ring the bell and speak through the Turn to one of the Nuns, and leave a prayer intention or donated goods on the Turn. The Turn is an enclosed turntable on which items can be placed and rotated into the the enclosure for the Nuns to collect; it is located near the bell, on the right-hand side of the Monastery at the corner of the house. The Nuns remain behind the enclosure and are hidden from view.
