Books suitable for donation
Updated August 2022
The Sisters have gratefully received many Carmelite books already, but if you know of any that need a home, they will gladly add them to their library.
Audio books, on CD or USB, are also very helpful.
Those who send a book are encouraged to affix a note to the inside cover with their name and perhaps a small prayer intention, so that the Sisters may offer a prayer for the intentions of those who have donated each time they read the book. Books donated may be placed on the turn or sent to the postal address.
Specific titles still of use are:
“Canticum Clericorum Romanum Roman Clerical Chant - Gregorian Chant Settings of the Orations, Epistles and Gospels” by Michel Ozorak
“Thoughts of Bl. Mary of Jesus Crucifed” by Rev Buzy
“The Spirituality of St. Therese” by André Combes
“Explanation of the Holy Rule of Carmel in the Form of Meditations and Examens” by Reverend Mother Mary of St. Peter, Prioress of the Carmel of Arles
“Spiritual Commentary on the Constitutions of the Discalced Carmelite Nuns” by Father Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen OCD
“The Cenacle” by Abbé L.G.
The Sisters are also interested in other lives of the Saints and standard spiritual works.
